There are ways that you can prevent yourself from getting a sexually transmitted disease. Obviously, the best way that you can prevent yourself from not getting an STD is to not have sex. However, that is not a realistic option. Therefore, you need make sure that if you are not in a monogamous relationship that you have properly fitting condoms. Even if condoms are used properly, they are not 100 percent effective. In order to make sure that you do not contract a disease make sure that you limit the number of partners that you have.
